Two weeks ago I started work as the Digital and Social Media Specialist at Friends’ Central School in Wynnewood, PA (a western suburb of Philadelphia). It has been a thrilling first two weeks. While I’m still adjusting to the role and becoming fully immersed in the culture of the school, I already know there are a number of challenges and opportunities ahead and I’m very excited to bring what I can to the role and the school’s online outreach and marketing efforts.
My experience working in communications for schools (K-12 and higher ed) over the past three years (and especially the last 12 months putting my education and internship experience into practice at Hebron Academy have prepared me for this exciting role.
I’ll update this site from time to time with updates and finished projects but in broad strokes, I’ll be working heavily on the school’s website, helping tell the FCS story (through writing, photos, and video), and optimizing the school’s online presences by using Google Analytics and other tools to further the school’s goals.
