At Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB I was the Public Relations Coordinator for  the campus chapter In that capacity I attended AIʼs Human Rights College and Annual General Meeting where I received insights into campaigning on behalf of Amnesty and was active in discussions about national-level issues including AI Canadaʼs position on accepting government funding for educational programs.

Back at Mount Allison University, I organized AI Canadaʼs Human Rights Campaigner for Aboriginal Rights Craig Benjaminʼs talk on campusregarding implementing the Universal Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
