I’ve been working at Hebron Academy for just over a month now and it’s been an adventure. Being responsible for documenting and sharing what happens at a school (even at a small school like Hebron) in a way that attracts future students and alumni is a challenging task but an exciting one.
I feel comfortable enough to share a few things I’ve been working on. Below is a slideshow of the “Opening Days” of September at Hebron followed by some photos I’ve taken I like.
What’s nice about a job like this is that there’s almost immediate feedback (on Facebook/Twitter/etc) to what I’ve done so I’m starting to get a better idea of what people like. Anyways, I hope you like these.
This week I’ll be going to the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools conference: Using Social Media to Market Your School in New Canaan, CT. I’m interested to see what other schools are doing on social media and what’s possible at Hebron.[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yKdDXw6u-Q%5D
